Guerlain Samsara Edp Spray 100 ml

Jean-Paul Guerlain created Samsara for the woman in his life. His only instructions were to use sandalwood and jasmine, notes that the "Lady of Samsara" was particularly fond of.

Jean-Paul Guerlain travelled many times to India to acquire the purest sandalwood and jasmine which, until then, had only been used for religious offerings.

Samsara is a sensual version of seduction for women who have found harmony and balance, which is conveyed primarily through the raw materials of the composition.

It was at the Musée Guimet that Robert Granai found the inspiration to shape Samsara. The bottle is a striking red, a sacred colour which, combined with the fullness of the shapes, evokes the statue of a Khmer dancer.

The cap refers to the shape of the Buddha's eye, a symbol of meditation leading to supreme enlightenment.

As it rises, Samsara envelops us in jasmine flower, which dominates the fragrance until the sunny ylang ylang flower embellishes it to unite it with the radiant and generous warmth of sandalwood. Finally, lily, tonka bean and vanilla harmonise and sublimate this blend with their magnificent trail.
